Process to get Engineering admission through COMEDK
- Merit quota admission process
After the declaration of COMEDK results. Counselling is held for all the candidates who have participated in the COMEDK Examination. And through counselling seats are allotted to every candidate based on marks the candidates have scored in COMEDK. The official Fees structure of COMEDK Engineering Colleges is 2.65 lakhs. But many low ranked colleges give seats for lesser fees than 2.65 lakhs too in many branches except CSE AND all other CSE related streams, information science. But top ranked colleges like RV College of Engineering, BMS College of Engineering, MS Ramaiah institute of technology, BMS institute of technology, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, top 20 private colleges don’t give any concession in the fees. - Management Quota Admissions process in COMEDK
To get management quota admission, the candidate must have given COMEDK examination or any other state level Engineering examination. There is just one difference between merit and management quota Admission in COMEDK, Management quota fee structure is higher by 6-20 times compared to merit quota seats in COMEDK. Most colleges have the same criteria as that of COMEDK, but few colleges ask for higher PCM % than what’s required in COMEDK. For example, some Colleges who ask for a higher percentage for management quota admission than COMEDK are RVCE, BMSCE, BIT, MVIT, DSCE.
